There I go again, postin’ works in progress when no one’s up to see ‘em.
Anyway, I landed on The Weeknd after a few skips, decided that was best. Look at how messy my “process” is. Nowhere near being done, but starting on a halftone is a good idea that I should utilize more often.

PRETTY MUCH JUST WOKE UP, PRETTY PUMPED. SO FAR PUT ABOUT 2 HOURS INTO IT. I’M GONNA FINISH IT I SWEAR JUST LOOK AT THESE WEIRD PROGRESS SHOTS IN THE MEAN TIME.
Almost a year ago, I “threw in the towel” for the night on a very similar doodle. But tonight, I pause, you know: for sleep. lol
It’s still kind of a mess but it’s moving on! And for me, that’s something. Okay goodnight/morning muah.
A half hour after not being able to start a drawing, but knowing that I couldn’t not draw something, I start to draw something I’ve drawn before (albeit from a different angle) and feel like an idiot.
BUT I SWEAR I’LL COLOR THIS ONE!
Aaaand, for fun, here’s the super-quick under-drawing/placeholder layer for this to make you feel stupid for not drawing all the time, because if I start something off looking that gross, you can do anything you want, buddy.
Really tryna’ keep this live-with-doodles/don’t-have-to-fully-commit-to-everything overuse-of-dashes thing going. But what if I actually did something with this?
PS I realized why I stick to mostly faces. Figures (specially girly ones) are tough to draw.
